Description

Work in progress.

UPDATE: Added names and a potential moves list. Thank you to everyone who suggested names, I had loads of great ones to choose from!

I haven't been happy with my last few submissions - it's not that they've been bad as such, but after Wartomaton the others seem to be missing something... so here's another three-stage pure fire type. Thankfully I'm pretty happy with these guys since they seem far more my style although I still have to name them.

Before anyone mentions it, I know with the smoke and all they could be classed as fire/poison but
1. I want a pure fire type and
2. it's smoke and not smog so for me it still leans more towards a pure fire type design.

:bulletblue: Cherocub
------------------
Derivation: Cherokee + Cub
Abilities: Flame Body, White Smoke
Classification: Smoke Cub Pokemon

Cherocub's internal bodies are very hot and they can emit clouds of smoke from their ears at will, the insides of which are always glowing with heat. Although they prefer wooded and mountainous areas, they can also be found in volcanic regions where they hide in caves; as Cherocub sleep, the caves are filled with smoke from their ears to hide them from predators.

:bulletblue: Cherokiln
------------------
Derivation: Cherokee + Kiln
Abilities: Flame Body, White Smoke
Classification: Smoke Bear Pokemon

They are a lot braver than their pre-evolutions and will face off predators much larger than them, releasing smoke and heat from their bodies to frighten attackers. They feed on the honey from bug-type Pokemon, using smoke from their hands to incapacitate the hive's defenders while they take their fill.

:bulletblue: Apachief
-------------------
Derivation: Apache + Chief
Abilities: Flame Body, White Smoke
Classification: Bear Chief Pokemon

On rare occassions, their brightly coloured plume-like fur will shed - it is said making a talisman from one of them will grant you great luck and strength. Considered sacred by some who are native to their habitats, these Pokemon are looked upon in a mystical light since they never back down and never stop fighting, making them furious - and dangerous - in battle. They communicate with others of their kind over long distances by sending smoke signals high into the air.

Potential moves list: Smoke Screen, Body Slam, Fire Punch, Slash, Cut, Fire Fang, Bite, Crunch, Smog, Psywave, Flame Charge, Heat Crash, Mystical Fire, Will-O-Wisp, Flamethrower, Clear Smog, Poison Gas

:bulletpurple: Furnace Hold
Power - 100
Accuracy - 50%
PP - 5
Type - Fire
Category - Physical
Compare Zap Cannon

The user bellows as it heats up its core, emanating a fiery glow. Soon an eruption of flames engulfs its body, and it dives towards a foe attempting to ensnare it with its blazing embrace. If successful, the user crashes down onto the foe, and smothers them in a blanket of flames of such intensity that a Burn is guaranteed.
