Description
This is the coloured version of a design I purchased from ~Sky-Asa Here is the original sketch:
It was a pure rock type called Tablograph, but I made a few changes and turned it into rock / psychic type called Translate (I liked the punny name).
I wanted to make a more colourful rock type so I incorporated an amethyst design into the arms - a stone also associated with psychic power. The secondary psychic type explains the floating nature of the arms, and I think it fits the unown-type design well.

Derivation: A pun containing the word 'slate'.

Often mistaken for Unknown plastered on walls, Translate are mysterious rock engravings powered by amethyst. They are found deep in caves, where only the most valuable and colorful ores develop. Translate often eat said ores to strengthen their immense power, absorbing the energies into their tablet-like bodies; it is said that their powers develop differently depending on what kind of minerals they absorb.
Potential Moves: Secret Power, Hidden Power, Psybeam, Psywave, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Polish, Self-Destruct, Explosion, Cosmic Power, Magic Room, Future Sight, Comet Punch, Embargo, Mega Punch, Barrier, Hypnosis, Miracle Eye.

" title="Sweating a little..."/> So! For starters, this is a great concept and well thought (even though you bought it from <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/s/k/s…" alt="
" title="Sky-Asa" />) because you modified the original version into your own, adding more interesting features, such as the Unown marking, or the amethyst arms, which (no offense to Sky-Asa) looks way more better than the original one. At first glance, what snaps to our attention are the arms. In a bright purple-pink color, they're hard to miss. Their shading is amazingly well done, it looks like real crystals. However, what disturbs me is that the slate in the middle looks very dull compared to the arms. I understand they are two totally different elements, but maybe make the Unown eye the same color as the arms or something? It would be better, so the two colors could look good together.
The arms also raises my doubts. It says that Translate is a psychic Pokemon with its amethyst arms and all, but the arms just look... dull again, I guess. Making them glow (like on Thanatorse's hooves' fire), even just a little bit, could make a huge difference.
Don't get my message the bad way, this is great work, I especially love how it looks ancient and kinda powerful, but any work in the world always has a little something to work on. Yours isn't an exception! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="
