This is a commission for :iconyshiro14:, go check out his gallery and his Fakemon! He commissioned me to do a re-design of one of his old fakemon designs, a bug / electric type called Zapfly (the original can be found here [link]). This was the result.

Here is the development process:

The commissioner wanted to keep the electrical antennae, which I did. I changed the colours of the fakemon to fit in a little closer with the electric type theme, and added a longer abdomen to represent a glowbug / lightbulb idea without actually adding a lightbulb. I also thought that Zapfly would fly using static electricity, and this manifests itself in Zapfly's wings which are made up of electrical energy.

Pokemon is copyright to Nintendo, this design belongs to :iconyshiro14: and shouldn't be used anywhere else without his permission!
